Air Travel Organiser's License ("ATOL")

ATOL is a protection scheme for air holidays and flights managed by the Civil Aviation Authority ("CAA"). All tour operators and travel firms selling air holiday packages and flights in the UK are required by law to hold a license called an Air Travel Organiser's License ("ATOL").

ATOL protects you from losing your money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out checks on the tour operators and travel organisers it licenses and requires a financial guarantee called a bond.

The Travel Trust Association

The Travel Trust Association is a Trade Association composed of Travel Agents and Tour Operators. The Travel Trust Association is designed to regulate its members and provide financial protection to the consumers and recognised suppliers of TTA Members.
