Upon arrival at Belize Airport, you will be met by our representatives who will transfer you to Blancaneaux Lodge. This is approximately 2.5hrs drive.
The Mountain Pine Ridge in the north west of the Mayan mountains, is a forest reserve full of wild flowers, river valleys and waterfalls. On the steep slopes of the secluded Privassion Creek, in the heart of the Ridge, is Blancaneaux, Francis Ford Coppola's stylish and very romantic retreat. Perfect for honeymooners, the lodge overlooks a series of beautiful waterfalls, rock pools and granite swimming holes. It features 13 villas made from local materials - wood, bamboo, colourful woven textiles - with Japanese tubs, and antiques and artwork from Central America and North Africa.
You can spend your days trail walking or horseback riding through miles of broadleaf forest, exploring the Macal River and the 1000 Foot Falls, or take day trips to see the wonderful Mayan ruins of Caracol and Xuantunich or even across the border to Guatemala to see Tikal.
At the end of your stay our representatives will transfer you to Belize Airport in order to take your flight to Placencia.
