Upon arrival at Oaxaca Airport, you will be met by our representatives who will transfer you to the Camino Real Oaxaca.
The 16th century Convent of Santa Catalina, one of Mexico´s most cherished landmarks, was converted into a Camino Real hotel a few years ago in the heart of Oaxaca. It´s a colonial gem in the city centre - dotted with ancient frescoes, graceful archways, ornate fountains, secluded courtyards and jasmine-scented gardens. We thoroughly recommend it and its distinctive Oaxaca cuisine. On weekends, the hotel chapel comes alive with a traditional Guelaguetza, a colourful spectacle of folkloric dancing, unique handicrafts and a sumptuous buffet.
Oaxaca is a pretty colonial city with leafy squares and colonial churches. The nearby Zapotec ruins of Monte Alban are well worth a visit.
City Tour of Oaxaca & the archaeological site of Monte Alban - Mariachi players in the zocolo, and the exquisite churches, especially Santa Domingo, make this one of the most memorable cities in Mexico. In the afternoon you will be taken outside of the city to the stunning pre-Colombian Zapotec ruins of Monte Alban perched high on a hill top. You will then return to the city.
At the end of your stay, our representatives will transfer you to Oaxaca Airport in order to take your flights to Zihuatanejo.
