The Maldives are located 400 miles south west of Sri Lanka. There are some two thousand coral atolls, of which only a couple of hundred are inhabited.
The swaying palms, endless white sand coves, and turquoise bays provide an opportunity to experience a more relaxing "get away from it all" experience.
